Bangkok Flower Market
The tour begins with a visit to the main Bangkok Flower Market, one of the city’s most colorful and authentic attractions.
Located in the historic Phra Nakhon district, the Flower Market is a feast for the senses, filled with fragrant blossoms and dazzling displays of tropical flowers. During your visit, you will watch skilled florists create intricate floral arrangements that will later decorate Bangkok’s luxury hotels, restaurants, and temples.
Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha)
Continue to Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha), located on the edge of Chinatown.
This renowned temple houses the spectacular Golden Buddha, an extraordinary solid gold statue standing 5 metres tall and weighing approximately 5.5 tonnes, making it the largest solid gold Buddha statue in the world. Known in Thai as Phra Phuttha Maha Suwana Patimakon, this masterpiece is one of Bangkok’s most treasured cultural and religious landmarks.
Chinatown
The tour then continues with a leisurely walk through the bustling streets of Chinatown (Yaowarat), Bangkok’s historic Chinese quarter.
This vibrant neighborhood is renowned for its lively atmosphere, traditional shophouses, colorful markets, and countless street vendors selling everything from local handicrafts to delicious Thai-Chinese specialties. Chinatown is also considered one of the best destinations for authentic Bangkok street food, offering an unforgettable culinary experience.
