Itinerary

07:00 AM – Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and transfer to Samut Songkhram Province.

Maeklong Railway Market

Your first stop is the world-famous Maeklong Railway Market, located approximately 90 km west of Bangkok.

Known as one of Thailand’s most extraordinary markets, the Maeklong Railway Market is built directly alongside an active railway line. Several times each day, as the train slowly approaches, vendors swiftly retract their awnings and move their goods just enough to allow it to pass. Moments later, the stalls are back in place as if nothing had happened, creating one of the country’s most unique and photogenic experiences.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

The tour then continues to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Thailand’s most famous floating market and one of the country’s most visited attractions.

Located in Ratchaburi Province, the market stretches along the historic Damnoen Saduak Canal. Every morning, dozens of wooden boats loaded with tropical fruits, vegetables, local delicacies and handcrafted products gather along the waterways, creating a vibrant and colourful atmosphere that reflects Thailand’s rich trading heritage.

Your visit to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market includes a scenic cruise by traditional long-tail boat, offering the best views of the bustling canal and daily local life.

(*) Although today the market is one of Thailand’s most popular tourist attractions, the canal network once served as the region’s primary transportation and commercial route, making this visit an opportunity to experience an important part of the country’s cultural heritage.

At the end of the excursion, return to Bangkok with arrival at your hotel expected at approximately 1:00 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
