Itinerary
Day 1 – Tuesday
Mae Klong Railway Market, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Bridge over the River Kwai, relaxation and overnight stay at an eco-lodge (Lunch)
07:00 – Meet our guide at the hotel lobby and depart for the famous Mae Klong Railway Market, located in Samut Songkhram Province, approximately 80 km southwest of Bangkok.
The market is uniquely set along an active railway line connecting Mae Klong and Mahachai. Each time a train approaches, vendors swiftly retract their awnings and move their goods away from the tracks, only to resume business moments later once the train has passed—an extraordinary spectacle that has made the market world-renowned.
Continue to the celebrated Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi Province, around 90 km west of Bangkok.
Board a traditional long-tail boat and cruise through the rural canals to reach this colorful and iconic market. Every morning, hundreds of small boats gather along the waterways to sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and local products, creating a vibrant and authentic atmosphere. Free time to explore the market.
Continue by road to Kanchanaburi, where lunch (included) will be served at a riverside restaurant overlooking the historic Bridge over the River Kwai.
After lunch, transfer to the Sai Yok district and check in at a charming eco-lodge nestled on the banks of the Kwai Noi River, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Guests may relax and enjoy the peaceful natural setting, with the option of taking a refreshing dip in the resort’s natural spring-fed swimming pool.

Ayutthaya Historical Park, Nakhon Sawan, Chainat and Transfer to Sukhothai (Breakfast and Lunch)
07:00 AM – Meet your guide at the lobby and depart by road towards Ayutthaya.
Covering an area of over 289 hectares, the Ayutthaya Historical Park includes the ruins of more than 300 temples and palaces dating back to the Kingdom of Ayutthaya (1350–1767). This invaluable heritage site was officially recognized by UNESCO in 1991. The Kingdom of Ayutthaya was one of the largest and wealthiest empires in Southeast Asia, known for its vibrant trade relations with major global powers of the time—an important crossroads between East and West.
We will visit some of the most significant temples of the ancient capital: Wat Ratcha Burana, Wat Mahathat—famous for the Buddha head entwined within the roots of an ancient tree—and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the most important temple of the old capital, once reserved for the exclusive use of the king and royal family.
The journey then continues northward. Upon arrival in Chainat province, lunch will be served at a local restaurant set in a beautiful natural environment (lunch included).
After lunch, continue to Nakhon Sawan, the provincial capital located at the confluence of the Ping and Nan rivers—where the Chao Phraya River (the “River of Kings”) begins its course. Here, you will visit Wat Si Uthum Phon, a temple complex noted for its elegant decorations and peaceful atmosphere, far from the usual tourist routes.
The trip continues north, with a short stop in Kamphaeng Phet province, before reaching Sukhothai. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.
Dinner at leisure (not included) and overnight stay in Sukhothai.
Total distance covered: approx 390 km
Day 4 – Friday
Tak Bat (optional), Sukhothai Historical Park, Ban Thung Hong village, Phrae, Phayao Lake and transfer to Chiang Rai (Breakfast and Lunch)
Optional Activity (no supplement): Early morning departure for the Historical Park to take part in the traditional almsgiving ceremony (Tak Bat). This centuries-old ritual sees the faithful offering rice and lotus flowers to Buddhist monks—a deeply spiritual and authentic experience that honors local culture and traditions. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
We begin the day with a visit to the Sukhothai Historical Park, one of Southeast Asia’s most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once the capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom (1238–1378), it is regarded as the cradle of Thai art, culture, and language.
Explore the park’s main temples on a fun and relaxing bicycle tour (or aboard the park’s electric tram).
After the visit, continue north to Bang Thung Hong, village renowned for its production of natural indigo dye—a plant-based pigment used for millennia in fabric coloring. During the visit, you will witness the entire production process, from the extraction of the dye to boiling and the coloring of the textiles.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase authentic local products. Proceeds are entirely donated to the local community, helping preserve this traditional craft and support sustainable and responsible tourism.
Lunch (included) will be served at a local restaurant in Phrae.
After lunch, continue north to Phayao, where you can enjoy a cup of locally produced coffee while admiring Kwan Phayao, the largest lake in Northern Thailand.

At the Golden Triangle, visit the Hall of Opium Museum, an engaging exhibition that traces the region’s complex history and the conflicts surrounding the lucrative opium trade.
After the visit, return to Chiang Rai to explore the magnificent Wat Rong Suea Ten (The Dancing Tiger Temple), better known as the Blue Temple — one of the most captivating and visually striking temples in the province.
Lunch (included) will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Wat Rong Khun, or White Temple, an extraordinary architectural masterpiece blending contemporary art with traditional Buddhist design.
After the visit, continue the journey south towards Chiang Mai, the cultural capital of Northern Thailand. En route, stop at Mae Kachan, a village renowned for its natural hot springs.

Begin with a visit to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a sacred temple complex perched atop Doi Suthep mountain, offering a panoramic view over the city.
