Discover the authentic soul of Southern Thailand on an unforgettable itinerary through ancient temples, pristine coastlines, traditional fishing villages, spectacular national parks, and one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests.
Departing from Bangkok, the tour follows a scenic route through some of the most fascinating and least-visited provinces of southern Thailand, combining history, nature, and local traditions.
The journey includes visits to Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan, two provinces renowned for their magnificent temple complexes, unspoiled beaches, breathtaking coastal landscapes, and an authentic atmosphere far from the country’s main tourist routes.
Continuing south, the tour reaches Chumphon, often referred to as the gateway to the Gulf of Thailand and the main connection between the mainland and the region’s famous tropical islands.
One of the highlights of the itinerary is an unforgettable stay in Khao Sok National Park, one of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular protected areas. Home to one of the oldest rainforests on Earth, the park is renowned for its towering limestone cliffs, emerald-green lakes, extraordinary biodiversity, and untouched wilderness. Accommodation is provided at a nature resort surrounded by the rainforest, offering a truly immersive experience in one of Thailand’s most remarkable natural environments.
Note: at the end of the tour, guests may continue by Lomprayah catamaran to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, or Koh Samui (transfer included), or continue overland to Krabi, Phuket, or Khao Lak (supplement applies)

Itinerary
Day 1 – Monday
Coconut Organic Farm, Petchaburi, Khao Wang, Wat Tham Chaeng, Wat Khao Takiab, Hua Hin (Lunch)
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel and depart by private minivan for Samut Songkhram Province, located approximately 70 km west of Bangkok.
The first stop of the day is a traditional organic coconut farm, where you will discover the cultivation and processing techniques behind one of Thailand’s most iconic agricultural products. Learn how coconut oil is traditionally extracted and enjoy a tasting of fresh coconut-based specialties.
The journey then continues to Phetchaburi, a historic town about 120 km southwest of Bangkok. Here you will visit Khao Wang (Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park), the former summer palace commissioned by King Mongkut (Rama IV, 1851–1868). Perched on a hill overlooking the town, the palace complex blends Thai, Chinese, and European architectural styles while offering magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Next, visit Wat Tham Chaeng in Cha-am, a remarkable temple complex renowned for its impressive giant Naga sculpture, the mythical serpent revered in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions.
Continue south to Hua Hin, Thailand’s oldest seaside resort overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
Lunch (included) will be served at a beachfront restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Khao Takiab, also known as Monkey Mountain, a hilltop temple inhabited by a large colony of macaques. From the summit, enjoy spectacular panoramic views over Hua Hin’s coastline and the Gulf of Thailand.
At the end of the sightseeing program, check in at your hotel.

Day 2 – Wednesday
Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Fishing Village (Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart for Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, a spectacular protected area renowned for its dramatic limestone karst formations rising up to 605 metres above sea level.
In Thai, “Khao Sam Roi Yot” means “The Mountain of Three Hundred Peaks”.
The park is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife and vegetation, as well as uninhabited islands, pristine beaches, caves and extensive mangrove forests.
One of its highlights is Thung Sam Roi Yot, a vast freshwater marsh covering approximately 37 km². This wetland provides an important habitat for numerous migratory bird species from China, Siberia and Northern Europe, making the park one of Thailand’s premier birdwatching destinations.
After the visit, continue to Prachuap Khiri Khan, the provincial capital, a charming coastal town known for its striking limestone cliffs, scenic bays and beautiful beaches.
Lunch at a local restaurant (included).
In the afternoon, continue south to Chumphon, the northern gateway to Southern Thailand and home to the country’s largest fishing fleet.
Visit a traditional fishing village, where you will experience the authentic daily life of the local fishing community and observe their traditional way of life.
At the end of the excursions, check in at the hotel.

Day 3 – Thursday
Chumphon Fish Market, Khao Sok National Park (Breakfast and Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart early in the morning to visit Chumphon’s traditional fish market, where you will experience the lively atmosphere of one of Thailand’s most important fishing centres. The local economy is largely based on agriculture and the thriving fishing industry.
Continue to Khao Sok National Park, one of Thailand’s most spectacular natural reserves, renowned for its ancient rainforest, dramatic limestone mountains and breathtaking scenery.
Enjoy a scenic boat excursion on Cheow Lan Lake, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush tropical rainforest, offering unforgettable views of this remarkable landscape.
Lunch at a floating restaurant on Cheow Lan Lake (included).
Afterwards, transfer to your resort.
Afternoon at leisure, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Dinner is at leisure (not included).
Overnight at Khao Sok National Park.

Day 4 – Friday
